PLM has been around for over 100 years and is emerging as the leading Property and Casualty insurer for the lumber, woodworking and building materials industries. Over the past few years we have made significant investments and improvements to our technology resources. Recently we unveiled a company wide Intranet, which helps facilitate the sharing of information. We have upgraded our hardware and software and are continuously providing computer training to employees in a variety of settings from public classes to private classes attended by only PLM employees. And technology is an area where we will continue to invest significant resources in the coming months and years as we strive towards automating and streamlining processes in many departments, including Underwriting, Claims, Sales, Loss Control, Human Resources and Accounting.

PLM, headquartered in Center City Philadelphia, offers employees a convenient location with access to all levels of management in one place. All PLM employees, with the exception of our field employees (both sales/marketing and loss control), work at our headquarters in Philadelphia.

PLM is committed to helping the local community.  We have a long standing relationship with the United Way of Southeastern PA.  PLM participates in the "United Way Day of Caring" and each year we have a campaign kick-off breakfast as the start to the fund raising year.
